At Envases, we believe in the power of recognition and not reciprocity. Therefore, we started a “Pay It Forward” movement.
In May 2023, we launched our first European engagement survey to identify areas for improvement in our efforts to create an inclusive, growth-oriented working environment where everyone feels that they belong.
Insights from the survey underscored the importance of recognition in the workplace.
While manager appreciation is vital, employees emphasized the significant positive impact of peer-to-peer recognition, highlighting its power to acknowledge valuable contributions, even those often unseen.
By emphasizing the concept of paying recognition forward rather than paying it back, we aim for each act of recognition to inspire others to do the same and thereby cultivate a culture where acknowledging others becomes second nature.
