Apan Recycling Plant

Located in Apan, Hidalgo, Mexico, our PET recycling plant is one of the largest and most advanced in America. With over 122,000 square meters of infrastructure, the Apan plant can process up to 130,000 tons of post-consumer PET bottles annually. These are transformed into 100,000 tons of high-quality recycled resin.

The Apan facility counts with certifications such as ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, and FSSC 22000. These certifications guarantee product quality, environmental responsibility, occupational safety, and food-grade standards. In our process, we use water from our own treatment plant, achieving significant environmental advantages.

Community engagement and sustainable innovation

In a social aspect, 85% of Apan’s employees come from the local Hidalgo community. This supports regional development and job creation. We also promote environmental education by hosting school visits and public outreach initiatives. Furthermore, we contribute to a cleaner environment by producing preforms for PET bottles ready to re-enter the supply chain.

Our commitment to continuous innovation ensures we are always moving forward. We are strengthening the circular economy, reducing climate impact, and transforming plastic waste into valuable new resources.
