Envases are investing 2.5 billion pesos in new plant in Hidalgo State, Mexico

Envases Group are building a new Aluminium Beverage can facility in Hidalgo State, Mexico. The location will allow the Aluminum Division to consolidate its footprint in the Mexican market while strengthening the partnership with its main customers and getting closer to Mexico’s main market.

The new plant is equipped with state of the art production facilities with 2 lines running a speed of 2,100 cans per minute each, and will have a capacity of two billion cans per year. This investment reflects Envases’ aims to be the first buying option in aluminum beverage cans and the trust in the Mexican market continuous growth.

The plant construction is already in place and is expected to start production in January 2020 hiring approximately 200 direct employees.
